The information isn't the secret. Implementation, duplication, and the Campfire are what ESS is actually built around — and why it goes far beyond what information alone can provide.

The Information Isn't the Secret
Why ESS Takes Coaching Far Beyond Information
There's a common pattern in business training:
Give people enough information to get their attention.
Teach them part of the process.
Show them what's possible.
Then hold back the most useful information for the next course, program, seminar, or upgrade.
At Exclusive Social Synergy, decades of experience have led us in a very different direction.
The information isn't the secret. Implementation is where coaching becomes valuable.
But at ESS, successful implementation isn't where coaching ends.
It's where real duplication begins.
And even duplication isn't where we stop.
Give Them the Whole Answer
Information is everywhere today.
Books.
Podcasts.
YouTube.
Social media.
Courses.
Search engines.
And now artificial intelligence.
The problem is no longer simply finding information.
The challenge is determining:
- Is it good information?
- Does it actually work?
- How do I apply it?
- What happens when my situation is different?
- How do I teach someone else to do it?
- And perhaps most importantly: How do we keep the process duplicating after I'm no longer personally involved?
Some information available today is excellent.
Some is outdated.
Some is ineffective.
And some is simply bad advice.
ESS is designed to combine effective information with something information alone cannot provide:
Hands-on implementation, coaching, duplication, leadership development, community, and ongoing support.
That's why we don't need to intentionally hide the answer.
It's okay to give people the whole framework.
But then help them put it to work.
Never Just Tell Them. Never Just Show Them. Do It With Them.
One of the central ESS coaching principles is:
Never just tell them.
Never just show them.
Do it with them.
The ESS implementation process begins with four simple steps:
1. TELL THEM
Explain the process.
Help them understand what they're doing, why they're doing it, what comes first, and what comes next.
2. SHOW THEM
Demonstrate it.
Let them see and hear what successful implementation actually looks like.
Don't simply give someone a script.
Show them how a real conversation sounds.
Don't merely describe the process.
Demonstrate it.
3. DO IT WITH THEM
This is where ESS coaching becomes different.
Work beside them.
Make approaches together.
Work through conversations together.
Help with follow-up.
Help identify key people.
Help through the first presentations and Unveilings.
When something unexpected happens, don't simply point them back toward another training video.
Work through it together.
4. REVIEW
Then review what happened.
What worked?
What didn't?
What did we learn?
What should we repeat?
What should we change?
Then do it again.
TELL → SHOW → DO IT WITH THEM → REVIEW
But that is only the beginning of the ESS process.
Successful Implementation Is NOT Full Duplication
This distinction is extremely important.
Suppose Sally joins your organization.
You explain the system to Sally.
You show Sally how it's done.
You work beside Sally.
Sally successfully implements the process.
That's an accomplishment.
But that's not duplication yet.
And simply signing Sally up certainly isn't duplication.
This is where many traditional sales-oriented organizations can get into trouble.
The salesperson's objective is often the transaction:
Get the customer. Make the sale. Enroll the person.
Mission accomplished.
But true network marketing requires something very different.
Signing someone up doesn't mean you've duplicated yourself.
Far from it.
Enrollment creates a new person in the organization.
Duplication requires developing a person capable of successfully creating the process again.
ESS Goes Four Generations Below You
At ESS, we take the process much further.
Let's follow what happens.
YOU → SALLY
First, you work with Sally. You tell her. You show her. You do it with her. You review it with her.
Eventually Sally can successfully implement the process.
But we don't stop.
Now we help Sally become the teacher.
SALLY → BARBARA
Sally begins working with Barbara.
And you're not expected to disappear.
You and the ESS coaching system (along with your coaches) continue working alongside Sally as Sally learns how to coach Barbara.
Barbara eventually becomes capable of successfully implementing the process herself.
Still, we're not finished.
BARBARA → TONY
Now Barbara begins teaching Tony.
Sally is developing as a coach.
Barbara is developing as a coach.
And ESS continues helping keep the process on track.
Eventually Tony learns to successfully implement the system.
Are we finished?
Not yet.
TONY → DAVID
Now comes the test that tells us something much more significant has happened.
Tony begins teaching David.
Tony doesn't simply understand the information.
Tony doesn't simply know how to implement it.
Tony has learned enough to successfully help David implement it.
Now look at what's happened:
YOU
↓
SALLY
↓
BARBARA
↓
TONY
↓
DAVID
That's four generations below you.
And more importantly, it is three generations below Sally — the person you personally developed.
At this point, we're beginning to see something much closer to genuine duplication.
The process has traveled well beyond the person you personally taught.
Never ONLY Duplicate the Activity. Duplicate the Teacher.
This leads to one of the most important concepts in the ESS system:
NEVER just duplicate the activity. Duplicate the teacher.
Making a phone call can duplicate.
Sending a message can duplicate.
Giving a presentation can duplicate.
But those are activities.
ESS wants to develop something deeper:
People who can teach other people to become successful implementers — and eventually teachers themselves.
That's why our question isn't simply:
"Can Sally do it?"
It's:
"Can Sally teach Barbara?"
Then:
"Can Barbara teach Tony?"
Then:
"Can Tony teach David?"
When that process begins successfully moving four generations below you, the system is demonstrating an ability to continue without requiring you to personally perform every activity.
That's when duplication truly tends to take hold.
Why Salespeople Often Mistake Enrollment for Duplication
This also explains one of the recurring problems we've observed in network marketing.
A strong salesperson enrolls someone.
Then another.
Then another.
The organization grows.
It looks like duplication.
But remove that salesperson from the equation and suddenly much of the activity stops.
Why?
Because sales duplicated enrollment — not necessarily leadership.
Signing someone up is not the finish line.
In ESS, it's barely the starting line.
A new member must become an implementer.
The implementer must become a teacher.
The teacher must learn to develop another teacher.
And that teaching process must continue through multiple generations.
That's the difference between accumulating people and developing a duplicating organization.
But ESS Goes Even Further
Even after the teaching process begins duplicating, ESS doesn't simply walk away.
Because organizations aren't machines.
They're made of people.
People lose focus.
People get distracted.
People become discouraged.
People forget parts of the process.
People begin changing the system.
Sometimes good information gets diluted as it moves from person to person.
And sometimes teams simply lose their enthusiasm.
So ESS adds another layer:
Ongoing coaching of key people.
The purpose isn't to create dependency.
It's to help keep the process on track.
To answer questions.
To reinforce fundamentals.
To develop leaders.
To identify problems early.
And to help preserve the quality of the information and coaching as it moves through the organization.
But there's still another piece.
We call it:
THE CAMPFIRE
Eventually, coaching must begin transitioning from constantly teaching people to also teaching leaders how to promote the environment.
What do we promote?
The Campfire.
Think about what happens around a campfire.
People gather.
They feel the warmth.
They talk.
They tell stories.
They reconnect.
They laugh.
They learn from one another.
They remember why they're there.
And when someone begins drifting away into the darkness, the warmth and light give them a reason to come back.
That's the role of the ESS Campfire.
What Is the ESS Campfire?
The Campfire represents the shared experiences that keep the community connected:
- Events
- Regularly scheduled training
- Recognition
- Success stories and testimonies
- ESS community gatherings
- Leadership interaction
- Celebrating progress
- The recommended reading
- Learning together
- Being reminded of the mission and culture
These experiences accomplish something another PDF, training manual, or AI prompt can't accomplish by itself.
They create connection.
The Campfire helps keep the information consistent while keeping enthusiasm, relationships, recognition, and motivation alive.
Teach the Teachers to Promote the Campfire
This becomes another important stage of ESS leadership development.
Eventually, leaders shouldn't have to personally reteach everything to everyone.
The information and implementation system is already duplicating.
Now we teach our teachers something else:
Promote the Campfire.
Bring people back to the community.
Encourage them to attend the training.
Celebrate their progress.
Recognize their achievements.
Share the success stories.
Introduce them to other successful people.
Help them feel connected to something larger than their individual business.
The leader's role begins evolving.
At first: Implement.
Then: Teach.
Then: Coach.
Then: Develop teachers.
And increasingly: Promote the Campfire.
Because strong duplication helps an organization grow.
A strong Campfire helps give people reasons to stay connected.
Information + Coaching + Duplication + Campfire
Now the complete ESS philosophy becomes clearer.
INFORMATION Give people effective information.
↓
IMPLEMENTATION Tell → Show → Do It With Them → Review Turn information into action.
↓
TEACHING Help successful implementers teach someone else.
↓
COACH THE COACH Work beside them as they become teachers.
↓
MULTI-GENERATIONAL DUPLICATION Help the teaching process travel: YOU → SALLY → BARBARA → TONY → DAVID Four generations below you.
↓
ONGOING COACHING Continue working with key people to reinforce the process and keep things on track.
↓
PROMOTE THE CAMPFIRE Bring people repeatedly into: Training + Recognition + Events + Success Stories + Community
↓
DUPLICATION + CONNECTION Develop people capable of carrying the process forward while creating an environment they want to remain connected to. This is not only for duplication to continue — this is for retention at every level.
The Information Isn't the Secret
This brings everything back to where we started.
There is more information available today than at any other point in history.
But information alone doesn't create duplication.
Effective information must be implemented.
Implementation must become skill.
Skill must become teachable.
Teachers must learn to create other teachers.
The process must survive multiple generations.
And those generations need a culture and community that keeps people connected.
That's what ESS is designed to bring together.
The information isn't the secret.
Implementation is where coaching becomes valuable.
And:
Never just tell them.
Never just show them.
Do it with them.
Then take it further:
Review to teach even better.
Help them teach.
Help them teach their people to teach effectively.
Follow the teaching until it has demonstrated multi-generational duplication.
Then:
Keep coaching the key people and promote the Campfire.
Why ESS Is Different
ESS isn't designed to replace the vendor companies our members choose to work with.
It's designed to provide an additional coaching, community, duplication, and leadership structure around the entrepreneur.
Different vendors can provide products, services, compensation plans, conventions, corporate training, and company-specific support. Sometimes you end up with a good sponsor team and sometimes you do not.
ESS adds another layer:
- Hands-on implementation
- Multi-generational coaching
- Teacher development
- Ongoing leadership support
- Recognition
- Community
- And the Campfire
That's why our objective is bigger than helping someone enroll another person.
Our objective is to create conditions designed to make duplication and retention more achievable and sustainable than relying on vendor-company support alone.
We don't simply want to help you find people.
We want to help you develop people.
Then help those people develop people.
Then help those people develop other people.
And while that process continues, we keep inviting everyone back toward the warmth of the Campfire.
Because information matters.
Implementation matters.
Duplication matters.
But people also need somewhere they feel connected.
That's ESS.
